And that's only the first part of the first act!! It has two acts, and they are both broken down to parts. The first act has 14 parts, and the second has 9. As you can hopefully see, while this play was done by fans for fans, it really is no joke. They amount of sheer wit that went into the script is TOTALLY AWESOME. Darren Criss, who wrote the songs, is a genius. I'm anticipating the soundtrack because I cannot get these songs out of my head!
I found this simply by roaming the Youtube-sphere. I started with communitychannel, which turned into vlogbrothers, which consists of John Green (the author of "An Abundance of Katherines) and his brother, and took me to one of their blogs which had a post about the formerly titled "Harry Potter The Musical." It's amazing what you can find when your just sitting on your ass!
The videos had been down for about a week or two due to copyright infringement (Damn Warner Brothers...), but they are up and running AGAIN!! Thank Wizard god!!
So, please, please, PLEASE watch "A Very Potter Musical" on http://www.youtube.com/StarKidPotter You will laugh the ENTIRE TIME, I promise. And for me, it's helped me not freak out about the upcoming release of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" so much.

Near as I can tell, WB didn't do anything--people just assume they did. I think StarKidPotter took it down for *fear* of being sued, was told about wizard rock and how WB and JKR are actually good with lots of fan activities, and put it up again, just bleeped and with a new name.

Sea-Maria- Very true. It just makes me feel better to blame someone LOL. All I do know is that I was distraught while those videos were down.But it's better to be safe than sorry!
